ROBERT J. PEARL, D.O.
Knowing he wanted to become a doctor since before high school, Dr. Pearl set out on a path none others in his family had taken. It was with a strong background in mathematics and computers, he entered the University of Kansas intent on pursuing a major in chemistry while fulfilling the basic requirements necessary to apply to medical school. It was there that he took his first formal class in the biological sciences and from that point on, he was compelled to take more and more courses in biology, focusing less on the physical sciences like chemistry and physics. There were two constants: math and the ultimate goal - medicine.
